# Zero Overshoot (GSRF) > Deterministic log-space signal stabilizer (“soft thermostat for your signal”). > Commercial product from BoonMind Labs. Production use requires a commercial license. > Positioning: trust + locked evidence + documented limits — not a magic black box. > Updated: 2026-08-09. Zero Overshoot implements Gradient-Stabilized Recursive Filtering (GSRF Practical): a nonlinear filter in log-space with a restoring spring to a declared normal `x*`, bounded observation pull `tanh`, and optional memory. It kills mid-band oscillation and compresses peaks toward normal — not to maximize tracking MAD, not to tolerate large feedback delay as a command smoother, and not to win fixed false-alarm event detection vs EMA. ## Primary pages (start here — actuators is commercial flagship) - [**Industrial actuators**](https://www.zeroovershoot.com/gsrf-for-actuators.html) (**flagship SEO / commercial**; short `/actuators`): mid-band ring damp without pretending to track; valve/SCADA map; true command+measured robot fleet; not a controller - [Home](https://www.zeroovershoot.com/): Soft thermostat for noisy signals; **49/52** dataset wins - Adaptive x*: regime jumps tracked without dropping the spring - Identity: gain plateau ~0.37 on pure sines; step 50→65 settles ~55 with frozen x* ### Independent industrial synthetic (n=100, pathology-scoped) - **Stiction-class osc** ~**76%** [57–89%] n=25 - **Slow-tracking wear** ~**68%** [48–83%] n=25 (provisional) - **Overall** wear ~**18%**, osc ~**24%** — not a universal industrial win - Multi-regime / mixed strata: **0%** at 50% bar on that pack ### Robot true command+measured (frozen Phase 5 MAIN) — the test that mattered Demand = native command;
